Chiropractic & Podiatry

Two Specialties.
One Trusted Practice.

For over 40 years, Village Health Center has brought chiropractic and podiatry under one roof — so patients with overlapping needs don't have to start over somewhere else. Our three doctors coordinate care the way a practice that has served Long Beach since 1984 knows how to.

Foot & Ankle Care That Keeps You Moving

Dr. Graves brings decades of podiatric experience to patients who have been told to just live with it. Heel pain, diabetic foot complications, and structural problems respond well to the right diagnosis and appropriate treatment — starting with an honest conversation about your options.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

We have been welcoming first-time patients since 1984. Here is exactly what happens when you walk through our door.

Plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early if it is your first visit — our front desk team will have brief paperwork for you to complete. Most new-patient forms take under 10 minutes. Parking is available directly in front of the building at 5406 Village Rd.
Your doctor will sit down with you — no rush, no clipboard — and walk through your concerns, relevant history, and any prior treatments. This conversation shapes everything that follows. The doctors here do not read from a template; they listen.
Depending on your specialty, this may include postural assessment, range-of-motion testing, reflex evaluation, or a detailed foot and ankle structural exam. Everything is explained as it happens. If imaging is needed, we will tell you why and what to expect.
Before you leave, you will have a clear picture of what is going on and what we recommend. Many patients receive their first treatment on the same day as their initial exam. You will never be pushed into a multi-session package — each recommendation is explained and yours to accept or decline.
We accept most major insurance plans for both chiropractic and podiatry services. Our front desk will verify your benefits before your appointment so there are no surprises. We also offer self-pay rates and can discuss payment arrangements if needed. Call us at 562.429.4446 to confirm your plan.
